On Saturday, October 29 in Troy at the Regional Cross Country Qualifier the Boys and Girls Cross Country programs both qualified for next weekends 2016 OHSAA State Championship Race!

The boys finished as Division III Regional Champions with a team score of ONLY 48 POINTS, which was 53 points better than the runner-up team! The Redskins were led by a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finish by Joe Ballas, Jake Rethman, and Tom Ballas respectively. What a dominating performance! The girls finished as Division III Regional Runner-up with a team score of 85, just 1 point shy of being regional champions. This was an outstanding TEAM EFFORT and the girls were rewarded with one of their best showings of the season and an opportunity to run another week for a state title!! The Lady Redskin runners were lead by two top 16 finishers in freshman Paige Rethman (9th) and freshman Danielle Berning (13th)! Both teams will move on to next weekends state race to be ran at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH on Saturday, November 5. The boys will race at 11:00am and the girls at 1:30pm.
