Braun Surpasses 1,000 Career Points
On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in their game against the Anna Rockets, Senior Dillon Braun became the 11th Redskin in program history to score 1,000 career points. Going into the game, Braun needed 12pts to score his 1,000th. Midway through the 3rd quarter, sitting at 999pts (11 for the game), Braun was sent to the free-throw after a drive to the bucket and a foul to shoot 2. Braun hit the 1st in true, nothing but nylon fashion, to hit the mark and surpassed 1,000 just a mere 10 seconds later as he drained the 2nd!
Braun finished the game with 15 points and sits at 1,003 for his career (11th all-time) with 7 regular season games remaining, plus tournament.
Congratulations, Dillon, and best of luck the rest of the season!!
