As most of you have noticed, we have not sent out All-Sports passes and reserved seating for this year. With attendance more than likely being restricted at our athletic events due to Covid-19 regulations, we want to let our fans know that for the 20-21 school year, the athletic department will not sell all-sport passes, or honor any passes for admission into our athletic events (this includes senior citizen passes).
Admission into any game/event will only be done through the purchase of a single game ticket, as this will provide us the best way to track attendance and follow all possible regulations for permissible seating. In the selling of single game tickets, the athletic department will be sure to provide opportunities for parents and family members of the event participants to purchase tickets before any tickets are sold to the public.
While the number of attendees permitted for each sport has yet to be determined; the goal for the athletic department will be to maximize the number of seats we can safely have available for everyone. Once we receive specific guidance on attendance restrictions from the Ohio Department of Health or OHSAA, we will work to solidify details of this plan and we will communicate that to everyone as soon as we are able. This is not the route we wanted to go, but also want to remain compliant to allow for all our student-athletes to compete this year.
We are working on alternative solutions that will provide fans that are unable to attend to still see the action live, but that plan is still in the works. Once this is finalized more details will be released.
