Jackson Center’s big third quarter was the difference in the Shelby County game Friday night at Fort Loramie. The Redskins got off to a great start Friday night leading 10-8 after the first quarter. The good start continued the home team into the second quarter as they were able to push their lead out to as many as seven, but JC made a quick run to cut it to four. However the Redskins finished the half on a 4-0 to close the half and lead by seven at half time. That would be the last time Fort Loramie felt comfortable as Jackson Center used a 13-1 third quarter to take the lead. The Redskins were able to get as close as three down the stretch, but the Tigers hit their free throws to win the game.
