The Fort Loramie won its third overtime game of the season and the fourth consecutive OT over the Minster Wildcats. It was a good ole fashion rivalry game as both teams traded blows throughout the game. Fort Loramie jumped out to an early 10-4 lead, but Minster closed the quarter on 8-2 run thanks in large part too 2 Jacob Salazar triples. The second quarter started with the red and black in major foul trouble as Brandewie, Meyer, and Albers all had two fouls and on the bench. Minster made the Redskins pay twice push their lead to 3 points, but this time Fort Loramie closed the quarter on a 6-0 run with a Nate Meyer driving basket and a foul with 1.5 seconds left to give the Redskins a 23-20 lead going into the break. The third quarter was again back and forth, but a Nick Brandewie three pointer at the third quarter horn gave the Redskins a 34-31 lead heading into the final frame. Minster would rally and take a two point lead 40-38 with 47 seconds remaining, but once again Fort Loramie answered the bell. Nick Brandewie tied it with a lay-up and was fouled, but he missed the ensuing free throw. Minster would then turn the ball over with 10.2 seconds, but the Redskins were unable to get off a shot in regulation.

In overtime Fort Loramie gained an early lead on a Grant Albers basket, then Caeleb Meyer got a steal and was fouled and split a pair of free throws to push the Redskins lead to 3. However as good teams do, Minster battled right back a Bryan Falk driving lay-up and then a Jacob Salazar three pointer, his 5th of the night gave Minster a one point lead. After a timeout, Fort Loramie’s Caeleb Meyer drilled a three on top of the key pushed the Redskins lead back to two. After a Minster miss, Meyer split a pair of free throws to push the Redskins lead to 3. Minster would call a timeout with 8.6 seconds left and have one more shot, but Nick Brandewie blocked the Justin Nixon three point attempt and Caeleb Meyer sealed the deal the game with two more free throws.
