Minster held off Fort Loramie on a Saturday night battle 35-34. Fort Loramie got off to a good start leading 9-7, Caeleb Meyer had 7 in the opening quarter. The second quarter was all Wildcats as they outscored Fort Loramie 11-4 including a 9-2 run to finish the quarter. The third quarter Fort Loramie pushed right back taking a three point lead at one point thanks to a great quarter from Grant Albers who scored 7, but Minster would close the quarter on a 4-0 run. The Wildcats would maintain that lead throughout the 4th quarter. Redskins would cut it to 1, on a Caleb Maurer pull up, but Minster got two free throws from Schmidt to push the lead back to 3. Again, Maurer hit a pull up jumper to cut the lead to 35-34. Schmidt would miss the front end of a one and one and Fort Loramie would get one more chance. Redskins got a great look from Berning, but it was just off the mark giving the Wildcats the victory.
